Hostel

The college has sufficient hostel facilities for the students. Exclusively, three blocks are provided for men and separate hostel particularly for first year students.
St. John Boys Hostel boys hostel has separate library, reading room, gym and a shop to facilitate the students.
The college has separate hostel for women. Mother Teresa Girls Hostel has three blocks which has separate library, reading room and a shop to facilitate the students.
Both boys and girls hostel has high-speed Wi-Fi facility.

Dining and HealthCare

A Sound body is essential for a sound mind. The hostel is annexed with a kitchen to provide food at protected and hygienic
environment along with dining halls, which can accommodate more than 1000 students at a time. Healthy and nutritive food is served. The hostel kitchen has facilities for steam cooking with gas stoves.
Physical fitness has been given utmost importance. The college hostel facility is equipped with an air-conditioned gymnasium with a state-of-the-art equipment especially for men. A separate gymnasium for women is also annexed with the Girls Hostel.
A clinic, with a few beds along with on call Doctor facility for 24 Hours to take care of the health requirements of the hostel students.
Menu chart will be revised at the beginning of each semester by the consolation with student representatives.

Rules and Regulations

No student should stay in the hostel, without specific permission from the warden, when the college is working. Permission to go out of the Hostel will be given only once in a month on a holiday. They can leave the Hostel after 6.30a.m and should
return before 6.00p.m.
No student will be allowed to go out based on a phone message. Phone calls from outsiders, other than parents of students, are strictly prohibited. Students can entertain the visitors only during the visiting hours. The normal visiting hours are from 5.15p.m to 6.15p.m on working days and from 8.00a.m to 6.00p.m on Sundays and other holidays.

Available facilities include

Spacious, well ventilated and well lighted rooms with cots, tables, chairs and fans.
Hygienic kitchen and dining hall where wholesome vegetarian and non vegetarian foods are served.
The college hostel facility is equipped with an air-conditioned gymnasium with a state-of-the-art equipment.
A clinic, with a few beds along with on calls Doctor Facility for 24 Hours to take care of the health requirements of the hostel students.
Generation backup to ensure uninterrupted power, supply during study hours.

Internet

Our college has a dedicated internet lab working from 9.15 A.M to 7.30 P.M. We give free internet access to our students. We have dedicated 32 Mbps leased line internet connectivity from Airtel. The internet can be accessed from more than 300 computers and free WIFI available inside the campus. All the departments and HODs have internet connectivity.

Transport

The college has 35 buses which are made available to the students and the faculty members for commuting from various points in the city and also from Trichy, Neyveli, Ariyalur, Dalimiyapuram, Tirumanur, Thuraiyur, Thittakudi, Atthur, Annamangalam to the campus. This facility has made it possible to start the classes in time and thereby helping the academic process. All the buses reach the Campus before 9.00 a.m., so that all the students and faculty can get ready to attend the classes at 9.15 a.m. The buses leave the campus at 5.30p.m., which helps all the students to reach home early and safely. For the benefit of those students who are attending special classes, special buses will be arranged which leave the campus at 6.30p.m.
